Three things got a candidate cut.
A shop with almost no sales history. One photo blanket looked lovely and had a shop with four total sales and no reviews at all. That is not a scam signal, it is a timing signal. A brand new shop taking a made-to-order job in December is a delivery risk, and Christmas has a hard date.
A listing photo that was a render, not a photograph. Two candidates showed AI-generated mockups rather than pictures of the real product. On one, the wood grain repeated across separate puzzle pieces and the hands holding it were shaped wrong. On another, the engraved names bent around the ring in a way engraving does not do. Both went.
A catalogue photo instead of a maker photo. One necklace was shot as three colour variants on a white background with a mirror reflection under them. That is how a manufacturer photographs stock, not how a maker photographs a piece they made.
